RG 1/144 MS-06S CHAR’S ZAKU

The RG MS-06S Char’s Zaku ll will be released for $31.95 in December on Gundamplanet.com. I am grateful that I was able to acquire this sample kit from Bandai Pro-Shop. I am going to be building this kit and documenting my progress. I hope this will serve as a great preview before you can all get your chance to buy this kit.

As the second model of new series in celebration of the Gunpla 30th anniversary, Zaku appears with the “Real System”. The design is created on the assumption of 1/1 scale. Adopted the “Advanced MS joints” which have new assembling process of inner structure. “Realistic decal” has luster like metal which is difficult to express by paint. The color coding is excellent compared with any other 1/144 scale models. The “Advanced MS joints” are designed to recreate the astounding movements of Char’s Zaku. They have the widest range of movement in the history of Gunpla. By the adoption of “Touch gate”, the pipes are easily assembled.

Below you can see the runners for a 1/144 scale RG Zaku. A thin and dark pink is used and is near perfect as an animation color!

Multiple color molding of A-Runner

Accessories include 2 black cable tubes for the leg cables and decals metal foil stickers. I seldom use any sort of stickers so most likely I will be painting those parts.

The multi-insert casting technology used in the Real Grade special inner frame allows simple cut-and-use assembly while preserving full range of motion for reenacting your favorite GUNDAM and Char Zaku scenes.

You can see the metallic color stickers. It is a sheet of decals with metallic color stickers including silver, gold and copper; one is also pink for the mono-Eye.

Above is the leg and the shoulder, duct on the side of the head. Its like building a Perfect Grade and Master Grade scale kit but a smaller scale. It is an amazing technique!

The scale is much smaller than a Master Grade but it is really detailed. I seldom use any sort of stickers so I will most likely build and paint. So do not wait a single moment and buy this kit.
