Today’s focus is Chogokin Tamshii. Bandai’s Soul of Chogokin action figures line is the a take on the classic Japanese robot toy models from the 1970’s and 1980’s. Bandai have re-mastered then as die-cast metal figures with a delicate paint finish. Created by Go Nagai in 1975, Kotetsushin Jeeg starred Kenji Kusanagi, a high school student who had to pilot the Kotetsushin Jeeg to protect his town from the monsters and mechas that threatened it! The GX-42 Kotetsushin Jeeg has been crafted as the latest figure in the Soul of Chogokin line, and stands nearly 5 inches tall.
